I only worked for and with privileged students both in International school settings and for American preparatory schools. I have only encountered  positive discrimination for myself.

Having been born and raised in the UK, Claire emigrated to New Zealand at the beginning of 2004. There she taught both in local schools following the inquiry based New Zealand Curriculum, as well as an independent school following the IB Curriculum. I am an Early Years teacher who is passionate about play, fun and meaningful learning. I enjoy creating a learning environment that allows children to explore their own interests as well as encouraging them to try new experiences and discover more about themselves, others and the world around them.

Rafael is an experienced educator with a background in English language aquisition, special education, and inclusive leadership, passionate about building inclusive learning environments.

Currently the School-Wide Leader for Learning Support at Seoul Foreign School, Rafael collaborates closely with teachers and the leadership team to foster Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approaches to make learning more accessible and engaging for all students.

Sarah brings together perspectives from multiple fields having worked as a classroom teacher, learning support teacher, EAL teacher, counseling intern, and student support coordinator. She has worked with students from early childhood to high school and is passionate about collaborating in teams to enhance student well-being and access.

Jae-Eun joined Seoul Foreign School as a school nurse in 2007 and enjoys working with students and teachers. She has been a registered nurse since 1989 when she graduated from Yonsei University with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. She also completed her master’s degree at Indiana University and her PhD at Yonsei University. She has various working and teaching experiences in both Korea and the U.S. Before joining SFS, she has taught undergraduate and graduate nursing students at Yonsei University.

Born in India to Canadian and Italian parents and raised in the UK, Michael identifies himself as a third-culture adult. Before teaching, he worked as a designer on various musical, art, and fashion projects to raise the profiles of youth groups, artist collaboratives, and independent labels. As an international educator, and leader, he is excited to bring these creative passions to the classroom and believes the curriculum should be as aspirational as the dreams of our students. Aaron Moniz is the Co-Founders and Directors of Inspire Citizens. Aaron helps schools around the world to develop whole school implementation programs for service learning and education for sustainable development as a means of developing global citizens. Paul graduated high school in 2004 from Seoul Foreign School in Seoul, Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Asbury University in 2008, his master’s degree in leadership from Asbury University in 2016, and his principal’s license from Asbury University in 2018.
