About me
Ms. Joanne Li, the Director of World Languages at Seoul Foreign School since 2020, boasts an extensive career in language education, notably focusing on teaching Chinese as an additional language for over 20 years. Before her current role, she served as the Head of Languages at Discovery College, ESF, Hong Kong for a decade. Ms. Li holds two master degrees from both Beijing Language and Culture University and the University of the Philippines. Having taught in five international schools across the Philippines, mainland China, Hong Kong, and South Korea, her teaching experience ranges from AP to International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, specifically emphasizing IB MYP and DP Chinese language acquisition courses. Co-authoring three books on "A Courses Design Guide to Chinese Language Acquisition in IB MYP," she highlights her dedication to enhancing language education and research within the IB framework.
